Cross Country

At Princeton Friends, cross country is about more than running–it’s about grounding, focus, and community. Guided by our Quaker values, students challenge themselves while supporting one another, learning that integrity means giving your best effort and focusing on personal goals over rote competition. Through time on campus and through the trails, the team finds connection with each other, with nature, and with the quiet strength that comes from steady, purposeful movement. Book Your Campus Tour
Our fall cross country team welcomes runners in grades 5–8—free to join—and trains on campus and in the Institute Woods, building stamina, pacing, and goal-setting in a supportive, values-driven environment where every runner matters. Guided by Quaker coaching that emphasizes encouragement, integrity, and care for place, students grow from first practice to final meet while strengthening team spirit and confidence.
