Guided by our mission and rooted in Quaker values, we aim to create a learning environment where all students can thrive, knowing they are seen, known, and valued.
Our Learning Support Team, led by the Director of Learning Support, partners closely with classroom teachers and families to ensure students receive the individualized support they need to fully access the curriculum. We understand that students learn in different ways and at different paces, and we design flexible, responsive structures to support those differences.
Support may include:
- Individual or small-group instruction in areas such as literacy, math, study skills, or executive functioning
- In-class support to help students engage more fully in classroom instruction
- Consultation and collaboration with teachers to implement differentiated strategies
- Coordination with external specialists when needed
We do not rely on standardized testing for admission, and we recognize that learning needs may emerge over time.
When a student might benefit from additional support, we begin with observation, communication, and partnership—with teachers, caregivers, and the student—to develop a thoughtful plan. In some cases, a student may receive ongoing support through our Learning Support Program, including a personalized educational plan and regular communication with the Learning Support Team.
Our goal is always to empower students—academically, socially, and emotionally—and to help them develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
