What makes PFS unique is the emphasis on the individual and the awareness that each student is different, is going to learn differently, and different things will excite them about learning. I felt really honored as an individual student, and I was seen–really seen–as a unique kid. And that has made all the difference.

Shaping Confident, Capable Learners
Well-implemented learning support fosters educational equity by ensuring every student has the tools and opportunities to succeed, leading to stronger outcomes, deeper engagement, and a joyful sense of belonging in learning. When a student might benefit from additional support, we begin with observation, communication, and partnership—with teachers, caregivers, and the student—to develop a thoughtful plan.
Support may include:
- Individual or small-group instruction in areas such as literacy, math, study skills, or executive functioning
- In-class support to help students engage more fully in classroom instruction
- Consultation and collaboration with teachers to implement differentiated strategies
- Coordination with external specialists when needed
