I was definitely prepared for high school. And more than that—I was excited to learn.

Ready for What's Ahead
At Princeton Friends School, high school readiness isn’t a single program at the end of eighth grade—it’s a purposeful, scaffolded journey that begins the moment a child joins our community in preschool. From their earliest years, students build the curiosity, collaboration, and confidence that will carry them into high school and beyond. Each stage of their PFS experience is intentionally designed to develop academic skills, self-awareness, and a strong sense of belonging. By the time they reach middle school, students are already practiced in setting goals, reflecting on their growth, and using their voices to advocate for themselves.
In seventh and eighth grade, these skills culminate in advanced academics, capstone projects, and real-world experiences—mock interviews, career conversations, alum panels, and meetings with high school admissions representatives—that connect learning to future opportunities. Optional SSAT preparation and personalized guidance ensure every student leaves confident, capable, and ready to thrive in high school and beyond.
