| Academically, students are immersed in a rigorous and developmentally responsive curriculum. Across all subject areas—literature, English, math, science, social studies, world language, and the arts—middle schoolers engage with complex questions, hone critical thinking skills, and participate in collaborative, project-based learning. | From selecting electives and physical education options to shaping their own high school readiness plans, students take an active role in guiding their learning. Leadership opportunities—in classrooms, across campus, and within the wider community—empower them to share their ideas, advocate for themselves and others, and contribute in meaningful ways, ensuring they leave eighth grade confident, capable, and ready for what comes next. |
As a student, I set incredibly high standards for myself and received so much support from faculty and the community. Rather than traditional grades, you get useful feedback—always knowing where you are and how you're doing. More importantly, I knew how to talk to teachers, ask questions, and seek help. That made a huge difference in high school and college.
